ASUS have today announced the launch of the MeMo Pad in the US, a budget tablet it will be available for $149, packing a 7 inch screen and running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, it comes in a design that looks extremely similar to the Nexus 7.

In terms of specs, you will find a 1024×600 resolution screen, a 1GHz VIA WM8950 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 1 megapixel front-facing camera and wither 8 or 16GB of storage.

It will also be available in wither white, grey or pink.

There’s no news on whether the tablet will hit other territories yet, but if we hear anything we will let you know.
