Today Asus ROG announced an extremely powerful notebook that will give you yet another option for your next notebook purchase.
Called the Asus ROG G701VI, it is a high-powered laptop that comes with an Intel Core i7-6820HK processor that is based on Skylake and comes alongside a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU, which is pretty impressive.
It will also come with a 120Hz wide-viewing angle panel, which is sized at 17.3-inches and comes with a 1080p resolution and G-Sync technology inbuilt. In fact, Asus say that it is the first laptop with a 120Hz G-Sync display.
You can also configure the G701V1 with up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 RAM, and with up to two 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid state drives (SSDs).
It also has three USB 3.0 ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C ports, a mini DisplayPort, a 1.2MP HD webcam, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Windows 10 pre-installed.
It will also come with a design that has a “Titanium Armor and Plasma Copper” chassis.
We don’t yet know pricing for the machine, but some retailers have listed prices in the US, so if you are interested, you might be able to find that out from your favorite retailer.
