Asus has today announced a couple of new Republic of Gamers peripherals, dubbed the Asus ROG Gladius gaming mouse and the ROG GK2000 gaming keyboard.
Kicking things off with the GK2000 gaming keyboard, which Asus has equipped with Cherry MX Reds with a macro-capable system and built-in anti-ghosting technology, with lighting that can be programmed with five different effects.
Almost all of the keys can also be customised with multiple actions, allowing from varying sequences that can be completed easily.
Next up on the announcement list is the Asus ROG Gladius gaming mouse which combines an ergonomic precision design, with polling at 200 Hz and technology that allows for up to 50G acceleration.
Asus said the following about the mouse in their press release: “Gladius is designed to fit the right hand perfectly and is manufactured with smooth-touch materials that stay cool in the hand, while high-quality, Mayan-patterned rubber ensures a secure grip. A fingertip DPI switch, all-programmable buttons, including two side-mounted switches, complete the epic ergonomics and impressive functionality.
It is even customizable, with an exclusive socket design that lets users slot in new or favorite switches to set their ideal click resistance, plus the unique detachable cable design allows gamers to remove the connecting cable for tidier transport.”
As of yet no information on the pricing or worldwide availability for either product has been announced yet.
