Asus has today unveiled a the Transformer Book Flip laptop at the 2014 Computex trade show in Taipei.

The laptop features a fixed hinge keyboard that allows it to be folded all the ay around, and then used as a tablet, with Windows 8.1 as its operating system and up to an Intel Core i7 processor inside.

There’s also the option to downgrade to an i5 processor, and choose from either 4GB, 5GB or 8GB of RAM, Intel  HD 4400 graphics, a 500GB or 750GB HDD, DVD S-Multi 8x drive and a 13.3 inch Full HD LED backlit display.

This choice comes in the form of two different models, the TP550 and the TP300, the TP550 comes with 8GB or RAM and a 750GB hard drive, and the TP300 comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a 500GB drive, the TP300 also won’t include a disc drive and it will only have the option for either an Intel Core i3 or an i5.

The Asus Transformer TP550 will start at £599 and the TP300 will start at £449, both will be available to buy by the end of June.
