ASUS has today announced something they are calling a multi-platform hybrid device during Computex earlier today, dubbed the Transformer Book Trio it runs of both Windows 8 and on Android, with an 11.6 inch 1080p display.

To switch between operating systems you simply place the tablet in its dock to run Windows 8, or remove it to use Android (4.2 Jelly Bean), or simply switch between the two using the hotkey when the device is docked.

But that’s not all, the spec list is also pretty impressive, running on an Intel Core i7 processor, with a second Intel Atom processor just for running the Android side of the tab, it also packs 64GB of flash storage, with an extra 1TB HDD within the dock.

And that’s about all we know for now, however we should hear more from ASUS soon about the tablet.
