At computex Asus today announced the launch of its new Transformer Pad Infinity tablet/ notebook hybrid, it packs a 10.1 inch screen with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, it packs a higher resolution than the Retina display in the 4th gen iPad.

Alongside which it also runs on Android, as well as packing a 1.9GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a USB 3.0 port and Bluetooth 3.0 technology.

Alongside which, probably more exciting is the ability to output 4K video over HDMI, as well as 32GB of in-built storage with an SD card slot.

No pricing or release date information has been revealed yet.
