A number of new smartwatches have been launched with Android Wear 2.0 this month and particularly at MWC 2017 this week, but what about the old ones?

Well, it seems that there are some plans to bring more devices to the line of Android Wear 2.0 compatible devices.

Some of these will be from ASUS, who revealed some exciting news for smartwatch owners on Twitter today.

They revealed on their Twitter account that Android Wear 2.0 will be rolling out to the ZenWatch 2 and the ZenWatch 3 in Q2 of this year.

That means that it will be released at some point between April and June.

We also expect the software to be coming to more devices soon, however, for now we haven’t heard about many more.
