At CES 2017 this week Audeze announced an update to their in-ear iSine earbuds, unveiling a new version of the headphones that have been designed with virtual reality in mind.

Called the iSine VR, it has been designed to work with the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, and StarVR headsets, providing you with more options for VR audio.

What makes these headphones interesting is that they use Audeze’s planar magnetic technology, which provides the headphones with a wider soundstage, better frequency response, and lower distortion with a thinner diaphragm and magnets instead of coned drivers that headphones usually feature.

This means more natural and immersive sound while in VR.

The new iSine VR headphones will be available later this month with a range of variants for $400 in the US.
