Audio-Technica has today revealed its latest set of noise cancelling headphones, dubbed the ATH-ANC70 they have been designed to worn over the ear and feature a built-in microphone on the ear cup of the headphone, allowing for voice calls when connected to a smartphone.

The consistent distance position of the headphone will reportedly allow for better call quality, and according to Audio-Technica, the headphones active noise cancellation technology can block 90% of ambient sound, with 40mm drivers in each ear cup to provide a good level of bass as well as overall sound.

Users can also answer calls straight from the headphones by tapping the logo button on the ear cup.

To use the active noise cancellation you will need to add batteries, however once they die, you can still use the headphones just with passive noise cancellation.

You can pick up the headphones now from the link below, priced at £149.
