Over the course of 2016, a lot of games that were originally launched on the Xbox 360 were launched on the Xbox One via Microsoft’s Backwards Compatibility program.

Today EA announced the first of their games to be included in this Backwards Compatibility program for 2017.

Xbox’ s Major Nelson revealed the news on Twitter, announcing that Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Dragon Age: Origins are now available to download on the Xbox One via the program.

All of these games are classics that were very widely regarded by reviewers and gamers alike, so we are pretty sure that a lot of people will be excited by this news.

If you previously purchased any of the three games on the Xbox One marketplace then you can download the games on your Xbox One from the available to download section in the My Games and Apps section of your Xbox One.

You can also pop the Xbox 360 disc into your Xbox One if you have that.

If you have neither, then you can purchase them from the Xbox marketplace today.
