Bang & Olufsen has this week unveiled their new BeoLab 20 speakers that have been designed to be completely wireless, featuring an 18 litre enclosure inside the speakers, alongside two woofer’s, 160 Watt Class D amplifiers and a 10 inch speaker unit, which B&O say will provide pitch perfect performance.

The BeoLab 20 speakers also use Adaptive Bass Linearisation technology that will constantly monitor the sound and adapt it for lows, and the speaker can even be optimised for its surroundings using a manual position switch, which activates B&O’s room adaption technology.

Band & Olufsen also say that the BeoLab 20 uses an active speaker design, which results in power output that goes beyond the wattage, which is a combined total of 640 watts.

Bang & Olufsen explains: “BeoLab 20’s powerful and refined performance comes from the active speaker design and the uncompromising engineering of its digital sound engine. The conical shape of the speaker embraces every nuance, clearly reflecting Bang & Olufsen’s eye for form and function.”

“BeoLab 20 offers Immaculate Wireless Sound for crystal clear, wireless bliss, giving you the freedom to decorate your room as you like – and place BeoLab 20 exactly where you want. Digital technology has allowed our engineers to dramatically improve the speaker’s acoustic performance by meticulously tweaking each driver’s equalization.”

“Every single parameter of sound has been analysed by Bang & Olufsen’s sound designers to provide the finest soundscape possible.”

The Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 20 Wireless Speakers are now available for $6,300 in the US. There’s more details available for the speakers at the source link below.
