Bang & Olufsen has today announced some brand new products at today’s CES 2015 conference, despite manufacturing a number of audio products over the past few decades, one of these announcements was the reveal of their very first set of wireless over-ear headphones.

Dubbed the BeoPlay H8 the headphones use a Bluetooth connection to connect to audio equipment, featuring a design that is typical to B&Os usual products.

The H8 also features a touch interface on the side that allows you to adjust playback, change tracks, answer calls and turn on the in-built Active Noise Cancellation all with just gestures.

The headphones are also very lightweight, weighing just 255 grams, which is about the weight of two iPhone 6s.

The BeoPlay H8 also features a rechargeable battery that is said to last up to 14 hours from a single charge according to B&O.

At launch the BeoPlay H8 will be available in two different colours, available for $499 from the Bang & Olufsen online store and a number of select retail locations later this month.

As of yet we have yet to hear about pricing for the UK, or availability.
