Today Bang & Olufsen unveiled the latest addition to their high-end range of Bluetooth speakers, called the Beolit 17, it has been designed to be a classic Bluetooth speaker but with some modern specifications.

The Beolit 16 comes with a classic Scandinavian style, featuring a rugged outer casing, an aluminium grille and a leather handle that should allow it to fit in with the rest of your home and make you look smart on the go.

It follows on from the previously released B&O Beolit 15 and improves upon it with some pretty design specifications.

Improved design now delivers 240 watts of peak power and disperses sound a full 360 degrees, filling even a large room or space. Those specifications include a 360-degree audio design that allows it to produce 240W of audio power, along with support for a massive 24-hours of battery life according to B&O.

B&O also said that it comes with Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, with the ability to customise the EQ via the BeoPlay application.

It also uses USB-C for charging.
