This week Bang & Olufsen announced that they have partnered with the guys over at LG to build and release their own OLED TV, the BeoVision Eclipse TV, which is a brand new device that not only provides great visuals but also more than that with a pretty unique feature.

That unique feature is the motorized floor stand, which allows you to move the TV around the room with the press of a button on the BeoRemote One BT remote.

This makes the TV very adaptable to a range of situations, and you can even adapt it even further with the optional motorized wall bracket.

Of course, if you are going to buy a TV< the specs of that TV are also important.

B&O says that you will get that from this new BeoVision Eclipse TV with the ability to display content at “absolute black and [with] infinite contrast ratio”, all with high dynamic range (HDR) capabilities and all of the other features that you will find with LG’s OLED panels.

It’s also a device from B&O and so you would expect good sound, which you will definitely get via the 450-watt music system that was unveiled alongside it, which includes a 3-channel sound bar that is capable of not only playing audio from the TV itself but also content from internet radio and music streaming.

To top all of that off, the BeoVision Eclipse OLED TV also comes with LG’s webOS 3.5 software, providing access to a number of apps such as Netflix and YouTube.

The BeoVision Eclipse will be available in September for $10,990 for the 55-inch model or $15,990 for the 65-inch model.
