At this week’s IFA 2015 Bang & Olufsen revealed a brand new wireless speaker for you, called the BeoPlay A6 and costing a heavy £799.

For that you get a really nice looking speaker that was designed in collaboration with the Danish studio Kvadrat, who used a curved shape that features a fabric cover on the front that can be swapped out for a number of colours that includes light gray, dark gray, dark rose and dusty blue.

In terms of specs you will find two 60 watt 5.5 inch woofers, two 30 watt 0.75 inch tweeters and one 60 watt 1.5 inch speaker.

The speaker is also AirPlay and DLNA ready, with the ability to connect to devices via Bluetooth as well as to services like Spotify, Deezer and TuneIn Radio, and even be controlled directly by tapping or swiping the touch interface on the top of the speaker,allowing users to swipe left or right to turn the volume up or down, or mute it by holding down on the middle.

Users can also use quick taps to skip tracks.

The B&O BeoPlay A6 will be available from BeoPlay.com, B&O stores and select department stores from October 19th for £799.
