A number of UK banks already support the use of Apple’s payment system, Apple Pay however, there are still some banks that have yet to support it, one of the biggest being Barclays.

Back at the end of last year, Barclays said this support will be coming to customers in early 2016, a date that appears to have been pushed back now.

This is coming from a Tweet that was sent out by one of their customers, Oli Foster Burnell who sent out an image of an email from Barclays CEO Ashok Vaswani, who confirmed that support will be coming in April at the latest.

The email, which was sent on January 12th, says that the service will be supported by Barclays in 60 to 75 days.

Barclays has yet to reveal any information as to why they delayed the support however, at least this is some good news for any jealous Barclays customers.
