This week Supergiant Games revealed that they will be re-releasing their action-RPG game Bastion on the Xbox One.

This comes after the developer originally launched Bastion back in 2011. It tells the story of Kid, who seeks the safety of a legendary stronghold known as the Basion after an event known as the Calamity breaks the world around him.

It will be re-released for the next-generation Xbox soon, and anyone who purchased the game on the Xbox 360 will get the re-release on the Xbox One for free for a limited period.

The developer says that the game has been re-built by them in an attempt to make it feel native on the Xbox One, rather than a port, whilst being in full 1080p.

The Xbox One version will also come with several more achievements than the original, and it will come with the Stranger’s Dream DLC.

Bastion will be released for the Xbox One on December 12th for $15 in the US, it will be available to anyone who purchased the game on the Xbox 360 will get it for free until January 1st, 2017.
