During GDC EA decided to finally unveil Battlefield 4, featuring the Frostbite 3 engine, they unveiled the game with a lengthy 17 minute gameplay trailer,

At GDC this evening EA unveiled Battlefield 4, powered by Frostbite 3, with a 17-minute gameplay trailer, which they say features gameplay lifted straight from the campaign, and starts with the evac of American VIP’s from Shaghai, following the squad as you make you way back to the US.

EA say that this new campaign will offer huge environments and the ability to direct squad mates, much like Rainbow Six.

The game will only be available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer, you can pre-order the game today, which will grant you the Premium expansion pack, or you can pick up the Digital Deluxe version on origin which includes bonus in-game items, if youu do get the Premium expansion pack you’ll also get access to the Battlefield 4 multiplayer beta.
