The EA community manager “EA Stive” today revealed via the battle log forums that server rentals for Battlefield 4 will soon be available to gamers playing on consoles, currently only available for users playing on PC, the servers will allow clans and groups to rent their own servers, allowing them to tweak settings for the game, as well as privacy and even being able to edit the map mode rotations.

“Indeed, it is coming. I’m afraid we don’t have any information on this quite yet, but it is coming soon,”-”Keep your eyes peeled on the Control Room and Battlefield blog, as those are most likely where you’ll see it announced first.” EA Stive revealed.

Administrators for any rented server will also be able to chose whether the server should be ranked or unranked, unranked allowing admins to disable tracking for player stats.

No information on pricing or worldwide availability has been revealed yet.
