Earlier this month, Microsoft revealed that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3 has been added to the Xbox One via the backwards compatibility version, alongside Dragon Age: Origins.

Back then we figured the two Battlefield games would also be coming to the EA Access vault, as most of the backwards compatibility games do, and today, EA confirmed that news, revealing that both of the games are now available on the EA Access vault, for free, as part of the subscription to EA Access.

They did mention that the new games will be rolling out the service over time, so if you don’t see it just yet, then you will probably see it soon.

Sadly, you do only get the standard version of Battlefield 3, so no access to that Premium content.

If you haven’t yet, you can subscribe to EA Access for £4.99 a month on the Xbox One.
