A new gameplay trailer has this week been leaked for a new game called Battlefield Hardline, which is said to be the next title in the Battlefield series, and was leaked through the YouTuber TonyGun38. EA also revealed details on their own official website, where it listed the game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and the PC.
The new game will still be created with the Battlefield developer EA Dice, for the multiplayer and the Dead Space developer Visceral Games, which will be dealing with the campaign.
At the start of the trailer the narrator says “No matter your play style or preferred side of the law, there is a multiplayer mode for you,” continuing with the statement “All of this destruction and mayhem, along with having multiple Levolution events, effecting maps and gameplay makes Omaha the most visually diverse Battlefield yet.”
Steve Papoutsis, the vice president and general manager of Visceral, confirmed the authenticity of the video on Twitter earlier today, stating that it is in fact six months old, coming from an “internal meeting”.
Excited to see so much buzz for the old footage. Love it. Can’t wait to show you how much further the team has taken things.

It will be interesting to see the game when it is officially unveiled, which we expect to happen during E3 2014 next month.
In the meantime you can check out the trailer below. (The video has since been taken down from the YouTuber’s account, but Polygon has uploaded their own version of it since.)
