Bayan Audio has today announced their latest wireless stereo speaker to hit the market, named the Soundbook, the new compact speaker is ready to play music from a range of devices in a range of places.

Designed like a book, to start playing music, simply flip open the cover and connect up your favorite device to begin playing tunes.

Connecting via Bluetooth 4.0 technology, the Soundbook can be used as either a speakerphone or an FM radio, and with the addition of the aptX codec, and NFC pairing, playing music from your device wirelessly, sounds great and is extremely easy, pairing with a single touch from compatible devices.


Bayan have also added TDMA noise rejection technology into the speaker, which makes sure streaming is both clear and uninterrupted, and with a built-in battery, the Soundbook can last up to 10 hours from a single charge, according to the company.

Alongside which the device also features a 15W stereo power output from the 2 1 inch long throw neodymium drivers, and the 2 inch passive bass radiator, which together can produce a frequency range of between 70Hz and 20KHz.

And if you’re not a fan of wireless capabilities, or your device just doesn’t support it, the Soundbook also includes a 3.5mm audio in port, as well as a 3.5mm audio out port for connecting to external speakers or headphones.


The Soundbook will launch from July 7th in two colour options, Silver/ Turquoise or Charcoal/ Burnt Orange, booth will however feature an aluminium casing with a ballistic nylon cover/ stand, that integrates a concealed FM antenna.
