The iPad gets the biggest update however, with a new “On Now” section to the app, users can now see whats currently being broadcast live, making it easier to find whats currently on various BBC channels.

Alongside which, there’s also a new AirPlay button within every version of the app, allowing users to simply press the new button within the playback screen to send the video to another device like an Apple TV.

BBC Alba has also been added to the channels list.
