The BBC announced the other day that they will be launching a new launching a new channel on YouTube filled with connect from BBC Earth.

The channel will be named Earth Unplugged and will feature a selection of films which have been created specifically for the earth and will, according to the broadcaster be the set “destination site for wildlife and nature.”

This is the first original content channel from the company which they have set up as they are “seeking to connect a new audience with the world around them. YouTube offers a fantastic opportunity to reach people and grab their attention with innovative nature content that will captivate and inspire.” – Amanda Hill, Managing Director for BBC Earth and BBC Worldwide.

The first video which was launched on the channel when it was announced and is basically a trailer to explain what the service will be all about, you can check out below.
