BlackBerry has today released a new update for its BBM for iOS application, bringing support for the WiFi only iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini, iPad Mini with Retina Display and the iPod Touch as well as a few extra enhancements which includes support for right-to-left languages, more options for sharing your BBM PIN Barcode, allowing users to find friends on their social networks that also user BBM and a fix for an issue where users would be missing BBM contact names.

However they are still yet to update the app with a user-interface designed specifically for the iPad, so you will have to run it in the iPhone simulator view, but hopefully that’s something that will be fixed soon.

In their announcement, BlackBerry also announced that they gained 20 million users just a week after the cross-platform roll-out and expect to add more now that the app supports more devices.
