The German developer THREAKS has today revealed a brand new gameplay trailer for their upcoming indie game called BeatBuddy.

In the trailer you will find some of the great gameplay that has earned it the respect from many big names in he gaming industry, including artists Austin Wintory from Journey and Sabrepulse from Chime, alongside which Rhianna Prachett, the writer for Mirror’s Edge and Tomb Raider has worked on the game too.

In case you don’t know what BeatBuddy is yet, here’s the official description:

“Take an epic journey through the land of Symphonia, a world saturated with music. Control the mystical creature known as Beatbuddy as he fights to save his beloved homeland. Interact with six unique environments to unfold the songs they contain. Create a unique synergetic experience in this action-adventure with a vibrant musical twist.”

BeatBuddy will release on August 6th 2013 on Steam, and will be available for PC, Mac and Linux and at some point later, even consoles.
