BeBook earlier today announced the new BeBook Touch tablet, which packs a 6 inch E-Ink touchscreen display, with a 800 x 600 pixel resolution.

The reader itself comes with 4GBs of in-built storage, which will allow you to store around 4000 books in total, but if that’s not enough there is a microSD card slot for expansion.

The BeBook Touch only weighs 186 grams which is slightly heavier than the new non-touch Kindle, and is only 9mm thick.

The new reader will also support DRM protected epub files after it has been authorised with Adobe Digital Editions that is, but you can also load PDFs or mobipocket files if you prefer.

One of the biggest points however is the in-built Wi-Fi which will presumably allow you to download content without the need of a PC>

The BeBook Touch will start out in The Netherlands and Belgium where it will be priced at €99.99 (around £80), but will be hitting further European territories in the next few weeks.
