With the current climate being what it is, saving energy is one of the key things when looking at a new gadget, and that’s where Belkin’s Conserve Valet USB Charging Station comes into play.

To put it basically the Conserve Valet allows you to charge 4 devices simultaneously, but with an eco-friendly twist which we will get into in a sec.

To charge a device you simply plug-in the USB into one of the four provided ports, which are placed at the back with one at the side, each of these ports give off a maximum power output of 500 mA, and allow you to charge your mobile phones, bluetooth headsets, MP3 music players and many other devices.

Once the ports plugged in you can then wrap it around the Valet’s ingenious cord management system which keeps all of your wires tidy.

But the best and main reason to buy this product is it’s amazing power saving technology, which will only charge you’re devices for 3 hours, allowing enough time for them to be charged but saving power by not leaving them on all night.

But that’s not all, once you have unplugged all of the devices, the Valet will sense it and turn of the entire device which will stop the power from drawing any power at all, additionally once you plug-in a new device during an already set cycle, the station will sense it and restart the current cycle, giving the new device enough time to charge.

The Belkin Conserve Valet has to be one of the best charging station’s I have ever used, there are some truly great points to this station some of which I have already pointed out above.

The best point however is of course how eco-friendly this thing is, we all do the same thing at night, plug-in the mobile phone and go to sleep, the thing is that mobile phone will only take a maximum of about 3 hours to charge, meaning that the rest of the hours it is plugged in whilst you are sleeping, is wasted hours of electricity use.

The Valet takes care of all of that by only consuming the power you’re device actually needs, and it even looks great, with a sleek black and white design, you will have no trouble fitting this onto your desk with your other gadgets.

Alongside it’s design, the Valet also has a pretty cool top where you place the phone, which has be made and molding in such a way as to hold your phone securely whilst charging.

I have been using the Valet for about a week now, and I have to say it has made my daily routine a lot easier, one of the biggest ways it has done this is by bringing one simple place I can plug my phone into before I go to sleep, as I move around a lot taking my iPhone charger with me, I can never seem to find the damn thing.

With the Valet, I now have one which is always in the same place, always at home, so I never have to go searching for my cord again, alongside this, with the three extra ports I can charge up more or less all of my other gadgets, alongside my phone without taking up any more sockets, and when  friends or family come over with a dead phone, all I need is a USB cable to fit their phone (which I have a lot of), and I can charge it up for them, no plugs needed.

If you’re looking for a charging station, that will charge all of your USB powered gadgetry Belkin’s Conserve Valet is defiantly the one you want to buy, and for £29.99 from MobileFun, it’s cheap too.

If you’re on the lookout for a mobile phone charger alongside this product, make sure to hit up MobileFun, where they have practically every charger you will ever need.
