Belkin has today unveiled a new Wi-Fi Range Extender that will finally mean that dead spots around the home will be a thing of the past. It does this by extending the existing range of your WiFi signal by up to 5,000 square feet, within which it can deliver wireless network speeds of up to 300Mbps.
The Wi-Fi Range Extender will also be designed with a pretty small form factor, and it can even be plugged right into an electrical outlet without blocking the second socket in your port.
Belkin also say that the range extender has been designed to automatically connect to the strongest WiFi signal that is available, meaning that it can provide “whole home” coverage at decent speeds.
“With the Belkin Wi-Fi Range Extender, you can expand your home network’s wireless connection up to an additional 5,000 square feet. It’s incredibly simple to install and is compatible with virtually any router, so there’s no need to reconfigure anything on your home wireless network. It’s the fast, easy way to expand your home wireless connection,” Belkin explained in its press release.
The Belkin Range extender will also offer single SSID for quick installation, single band N300 2.4GHz technology, with Wi-Fi protected setup and a set of status lights on the device. The extender will also be able to use the same username and password as your router.
The new range extender has been given the model number F9K105 and will be available in the UK for £29.99, in Europe for €34.99 and in the US for $39.99, you can grab it now from Belkin and Amazon now.
