BenQ has this week announced the launch of a new widescreen curved monitor.

Featuring a huge 35 inch screen, the newly announced BenQ XR3501 has a 21:9 aspect ratio, a 2,560 x 1,080 pixel resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate.

It also has a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m² as well as a response time (grey-to-grey) of 4ms. The monitor also has a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. BenQ also say that the monitor has 178/178 degree viewing angles.

On top of all that, the BenQ XR3501 has a chrome stand that allows the user to easily tilt the monitor vertically up to 15 degrees.

It also includes connections for DisplayPort 1.2, with a mini-DisplayPort, 2 HDMI 1.4 ports and an analog audio input.

The monitor also has three different game mode display presets, allowing the user to set up the display to suit their specific preferences for the game that they are playing.

BenQ is expected to launch the new monitor next month (August 2015), however they have yet to reveal specifics on a release date or pricing for the monitor.
