Today BenQ announced their new ZOWIE XL2540 gaming monitor that has been designed for the eSports market.

The monitor has been sized at 24.5-inches and features a 240Hz refresh rate, with a focus on eSports applications for a smoother and more responsive experience. It also comes with its own in-built shield to block out distractions, BenQ’s Black eQualizer technology to brighten dark scenes, a “one-finger” height adjustable stand, BenQ’s S Switch for quick access to the settings, and a frame that BenQ says was designed to minimize screen glare.

The XL2540 will be shown off at DreamHack Winter at the ZOWIE booth from November 24-26 at B04:05 to grab a look, however, BenQ has not revealed any information on pricing or worldwide availability yet.
