Google Cloud Platform expands to Mars
Google today announced their plans to launch their “Ziggy Stardust” data center to Mars in 2018, allowing users to store planet-redundant data across Earth and Mars.
if Earth experiences another asteroid strike like the one that wiped out the dinosaurs, your cat videos, selfies and other data will still be safe. Of course, we’ll also store all public domain scientific data, history and arts free of charge so that the next global catastrophe doesn’t send humanity back into the dark ages.
It’s actually a pretty good idea.
Back in 2015 Google released a version of Google Maps with the ability to play Pac-Man, this year they have released the sequel to that with Ms. Pac-Man as the main character.

Called Virgin Media WiFi Walkies, it is a dog lead that has a transmitter built into the handle to provide you with better Wi-Fi signal from hotspots from shops, cafes and other public buildings, the further your pet walks, the better the signal.
