Fitbit Charge HR
If you are looking for something a little cheaper then the Fitbit Charge HR might be more of your speed. It features the same tracking as the Charge 2, but it doesn’t come with GPS monitoring or the larger display.
Fitbit Flex 2
If you want something smaller, without the display or heart rate monitoring and with a lower price tag then the Flex 2 is for you. It can automatically track your workouts and sleep and is swim-ready, it only just a touch cheaper than the Charge HR however.
Samsung Gear Fit 2
This next option is only for Android users, however, if you have an Android device it’s a great option. Featuring all the tracking you would expect, along with a fantastic display and storage for your favourite music to work out to, or just pretend to work out to.
TomTom Touch Body Composition
The TomTom Touch is another compact fitness tracker that features more than you would expect. Not only does it do all the fitness tracking and heart rate monitoring that you want but it can also measure your body fat and muscle mass percentage at the press of a button.
TomTom Touch Cardio
The TomTom Touch Cardio has a similar design to the Body Composition model, but without that body fat monitoring. That said, it is still pretty cool with the same sleek design and the ability to show notifications from your phone.
Garmin Vivofit 3
If you want a fitness tracker that you never have to take off or worry about charging then you want the Garmin Vivofit 3, which is water resistant, capable of tracking all your fitness needs and has a massive battery of, wait for it, over a year.
The Withings Go is the cheapest tracker on our list but don’t take it out of yours just yet. The go is particularly interesting because not only is it budget, it also has a welcoming and colourful design, along with an E-ink screen that means that it will last over 8 months without charge. Of course, it can also automatically track steps, running, calories burned, distance & swim and monitor your sleep cycle and it’s water-resistant to 50m.
