Google was pretty late to the game with their Home personal assistant, however, there are a number of compatible devices for Google Home already, not quite as many as what have been built for the Amazon Echo, but there are a few to get you started if you have chosen Google’s personal assistant for your home.

If that’s the case then be sure to check out our list of the best compatible devices for Google Home in 2017 below.

3rd-gen Nest learning thermostat

After picking up your new home personal assistant, a great compatible device to think about is the Nest learning thermostat, which allows you to control your home’s heating with a circular colourful display, and an app for remote control.

Honeywell Lyric T6R smart thermostat

The Honeywell Lyric T6R smart thermostat might also interest you, it features many of the smart controls as the other two with Apple HomeKit, as well as Geofencing to control your system as people walk into your home, and it’s even wireless or wired.

Philips Hue Start Kit

A kit of people kick off their smart home design with a Philips Hue system and for good reason, it’s an awesome smart system that allows you to control your lights from devices like Google Home, from your smartphone, or from your phone. There are a range of devices to choose from with light strips, colour bulbs, and simple white bulbs. But we would recommend starting with a starter kit.

Belkin WeMo

Belkin has a set of smart home devices called WeMo that work to control a number of things around your home, from your lights all the way up to your lights, all of which can be controlled via the WeMo app or with Google Home and other devices.

Samsung SmartThings Starter Kit

The SmartThings starter kit is a great way to get started with smart home control, it’s slightly expensive, however, it does include all the stuff that you need for home automation, including one Samsung SmartThings hub, two Samsung SmartThings multipurpose sensors, one Samsung SmartThings motion sensor and one Samsung SmartThings outlet.

That’s all for now because Google Home is so new then there’s not many compatible devices, however, we will be sure to update you if we hear about more great ones.
