Oculus Rift

The Oculus Rift was one of the first major virtual reality headsets but is still considered to be one of the best headsets for consuming VR content today. Designed to work with the PC, with two AMOLED displays, Oculus’ VR tracking tech, and integrated VR audio into the design of the headset.

HTC Vive

The HTC Vive is probably the biggest competitor to the Oculus Rift, featuring similar specifications, but instead, it comes with a full VR setup to be ready to go, including the headset itself, 2 wireless hand controllers, 2 base stations, and a hub to link it all.

Sony PlayStation VR

Most virtual reality headsets are designed to be used with the PC, but with Sony’s PlayStation VR kit changes that by bringing virtual reality to the PlayStation 4 console.

Samsung Gear VR

Samsung’s Gear VR also brings virtual reality to other markets than the PC, it has been designed to be used alongside Samsung’s smartphones but was designed in collaboration with Oculus for great VR design.

Google Daydream View

Google also has their own solution to bringing virtual reality to smartphones, particularly with smartphones that are compatible with Daydream ready devices such as Google’s own Pixel smartphone.
