There’s just a week until you can take part in the multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare on the PlayStation 4.

But before that time, Activation wants you to now what to expect, so they have detailed exactly that for us today.

The beta will kick off on Friday, October 14th at 1PM ET or 6PM BST, and will provide you with access to three of the maps that will be featured in the game, including Frontier, Frost, and Throwback.

Frontier is a fast-paced map which is basically a giant space station that is in orbit around the planet Neptune. Front is apparently a medium paced map, and is set on Jupiter’s moon, Europa. The last of the three is Throwback, which Activision also says is a medium-paced map and is a throwback to 1950s America.

During the beta, you will have the opportunity to access three game modes on these maps, Team Death match, Domination, and Kill Confirmed.

You will also have access to the three classes, Warfighter, Merc, and Synaptic. All of these will have their own play-styles and abilities.

You will also see limited introductions to the mission teams system during the beta.

After this first beta, Activision will be hosting another on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One on October 21st.

The game will then officially launch, alongside Modern Warfare Remastered on November 4th for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4. and for the PC.
