BitTorrent has this week announced the launch of a new ad-supported streaming service for both music and video. Called BitTorrent Now, it will allow you to stream content from any content creator that has signed up to distribute their content on the platform.

BitTorrent plans to help people to discover independent and other major artists, allowing artists to make their content available for users to stream for free, on multiple artists.

However, its not completely free, and you will find ads on the service, with pre-roll ads on content.

That said, you will also be able to pay for albums and videos if you don’t like ads.

At launch, you will be able to access BitTorrent Now via its Android app, however, they are also working on versions for iOS and the Apple TV.
