The BlackBerry CEO, Thorsten Heins today confirmed that BlackBerry won’t be bring the new BlackBerry 10 OS to the BlackBerry PlayBook, making aa u-turn after they confirmed that it would be back in early 2012, expected to release sometime later this year.

The reason for this cancellatiton is apparently due to Hein’s dissatisfaction with the level of experience from the two, making the “difficult decision” to cut the project all together.

This will allow for BlackBerry to focus more on its current products, but does mean we might not see a BB10 tablet this year, or any time soon.
