Today is RIM’s BlackBerry World event and although they confirmed yesterday they would not be handing out development units during or after the show, but this hasn’t stopped an image of the apparent Dev Alpha unit leaking out.

The image which you can see above came from one of Engadget’s posts this morning where they have also said the display is 4.2 inches with a 1280 x 768 resolution, alongside this the source also stated the device will have 16GB of storage with 1GB of RAM.

But one of the biggest features you may have already noticed is that there is no QWERTY keyboard, which is a sign that RIM may finally be dumping the real keyboards for new touchscreen ones, but as of yet if we don’t know much else, we will let you know if anything comes out of the show later today.
