Normally he Blipper augmented reality app is used for just that, allowing you to scan an image or object and turn it into augmented reality via your iOS or Android device.

BlackBerry have decided to use it in a different way however, allowing users to spy how BlackBerry 10 works without actually buying a BB10 device like the Z10 or Q10.

To view the new OS, you simple scan the dedicated webpage, bbtakeover.me via the free Blippar application. Once scanned it will take you to a webpage that will allow you to demo the new OS right from the browser of your phone, within which you can view certain features BlackBerry has allowed you to, such as the motions and messaging features.

However it doesn’t really show exactly what BB10 is to use, you will have to buy the actual devices for that.
