It seems that the early advertisement for BBM on IPhone that was posted on BlackBerry’s website, wasn’t so early after-all, as yesterday Alex Kinsella, the senior strategic account manager at BlackBerry tweeted that BlackBerry has submitted BBM for iPhone to the App Store 2 weeks ago for approval.

Meaning that as soon as Apple deems it okay to hit their App Stores it should be available for download, however as it has been over a week (more than the usual approval time), it could be more likely that Apple has found a problem with the app.

So it seems that the original expected launch date for the summer has just got further and further away, and may stay that way for some time longer.
