BlackBerry isn’t dead yet, in fact it seems that the company may be looking to unveil some new devices during an invite-only press event on September 24th.

We don’t yet know what BlackBerry might announce during the event, however we do know that these press events will be located in Toronto, London and Dubai, which could mean that the announcement may be a big one.

Aside from that the invite only hints with the following tagline: “See The Bigger Picture”.

This could mean that BlackBerry is looking to debut a new smartphone that is reported to be the BlackBerry Passport, which is said to feature a square 4.5 inch display with a 1440 x 1440 pixel resolution, which was first rumoured back in June.

There’s also rumours that the smartphone will feature the usual QWERTY keyboard.

As of yet however there’s still nothing official about the phone, but we should hear more about that on September 24th.
