This week, Blink unveiled a new security camera that has been designed for use outside.

Blink is already quite well known for their simple and low-cost security cameras that make recording areas for security a lot easier. Today’s announcement expands upon that with the Blink XT, which is a camera that has been designed for use outside, allowing you to secure more of your home.

The Blink XT features a waterproof body, with a 1080p camera sensor that has an 110-degree field of view, and infrared night vision capabilities.

On top of that, it also uses Wi-Fi connectivity to make it easy to manage and view recordings from the camera. It also features Alexa integration, with the ability to save motion-activated clips between 5 and 60 seconds long.

The Blink XT security camera is now available for pre-order. It’s priced at $119 in the US, we don’t yet know if it will make its way to other regions yet.

You can check out the video below for a quick look at Blink XT, the source link below that will also provide you with more information as well as a place to pre-order it.
