The UK based audio manufacture Bloc & Roc has today announced a new range of headphones to be released, Called the Galvanize series, the headphones will launch in the UK on December 1st with two different models.

The first of which has been named the Galvanize S1 which features a solid on-ear design, and the second is the Galvanize S2 which has been designed with a central mesh design. Inside both headsets have bespoke 40mm dynamic drivers that B&R say took a year to develop and customise with deep bass, a smooth mid-range and clear highs.

B&R also stated that each speaker chamber has been machined from a single billet of British sourced aluminium to a 6082 aerospace grade, meaning that the headphones are made from one of the strongest and lightest alloys.

Bloc & Roc Galvanize gold

Both of the headphones will also be available in a 24-carat gold plated Deluxe Editions, and will feature headbands that are made from British sourced leather. There will also be Aluminum colour editions available that feature faux leather headbands and memory foam ear-pads.

The cable has also been made with a woven fabric and features a on-button remote with an in-line mic, with a 3.5mm gold plated audio jack on the end.

The headphones will also come with a canvas travel bag.

The easy route would have been to manufacture our headphones in China, but we’re proud to source our core materials from Britain and to work with some of Britain’s finest engineering and metal finishing companies. The result is a durable, high performing range of stylish headphones – hand built in Britain.”
