Recently Samsung were the first manufacturer to announce a curved display smartphone, introducing the Galaxy Round, shortly after which LG followed with the LG Flex, however neither of which include that idea of a wraparound display, although that is something that may soon change after a report from Bloomberg today reporting that the Samsung will soon release a handset that will include a three-sided display, allowing the user to read information on the screen from a wide range of angles.

The report doesn’t provide any information about an exact release date, and they claim that the company are yet to reach a final release date, but the report does say that it will launch sometime during the second half of 2014.

The report also left out any information as to whether the display will debut on the Galaxy S or the Galaxy Note smartphone.
