Microsoft have just revealed to Wired that the new Xbox One will allow for one time installation to the hard drive, without the need to insert the disc every time you want to play the game.

The game will install to the 500GB harddrive and will run directly from the console itself.

For a second account to be linked to the game, a fee would be charged, which will likely be a huge hit for second-hand gamers and those who rent games.

There’s no news yet on whether you will be forced to pay this for all live accounts on your console, or whether it will be just for a separate consoles, there’s also no news if this will mean you will need an always on connection.
