You’ve probably heard of Blue because of their microphones but the company has also been designing their own headphones for some time now, including the new Blue Satellite, which is the companies first pair of wireless headphones.

The headphones use Bluetooth connectivity and an over-ear design to allow the headphones to be wireless while providing a great sound.

The particularly interesting feature with these headphones is that they use two 44mm dynamic drivers for each ear, one of which is for audio playback and the other is for the noise cancellation.

To top that off, Blue’s Satellite uses an onboard analog amplifier to improve the audio quality played back regardless of the source, alongside Bluetooth 4.1 with AptX support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for using the headphones in a wired mode.

Blue says that the Satellite headphones will be released sometime in 2017, however, they have not revealed a specific release date or pricing information.
