Today B&O PLAY announced the launch of their latest portable Bluetooth speaker, called the B&O PLAY Beoplay P2.

This speaker is the “smallest and most intelligent member of the B&O PLAY range of wireless Bluetooth speakers” according to B&O, and was designed to be extremely portable yet stylish by the award-winning designer Cecilie Manz.

It also comes with a premium and minimal design with a pearl-blasted aluminum body and a real leather covering.

Of course, because it is smart, the speaker is completely customizable and is cable of communicating with the Beoplay companion application on your smartphone, with enough power to pump out some serious sound on the go.

Director of Concept and Design in B&O PLAY Matthias F. Ørum-Hansen said the following about it:

“Music plays a big part in amplifying everyday moments, so we made a personal speaker that you don’t want to leave your home without. Beoplay P2 is a stunning piece of Danish design, a study in stupendous craftsmanship and the accumulation of 90 years in sound and acoustics with a sound quality that is second to none in this category”.

It will be available in Black, Sand Stone, and in Royal Blue for $169/£149/€169 from B&O stores, from the B&O website, and from a number of other retailers from April 27th, 2017.
