Bose has today announced the launch of a new pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones, named the AE2W, the new headset is available from the Bose online store today for $249.

For that price you get a set of headphones that can wirelessly receive sound from any device which uses Bluetooth 2.1 technology or later, and allows for two Bluetooth devices to be connected at the same time.

However they aren’t noise cancelling headphones, with Bose only saying that they “may physically block some noise,” so the same as any other headset really.

They do however feature a built-in microphone and claim to have a 7 hour battery life from a full charge that according to Bose will take just 3 hours.

They are also said to have a wireless range of up to 30 feet, and include a USB charging cable, audio cable to use with non-wireless devices and a carry bag.
