Bose has today unveiled a new pair of noise cancelling headphones named the QuietComfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones that will replace the previously available QuietComfort 15 headphones, featuring a new design and a few new features.
Once of those features is greater noise reduction, and comes alongside a new profile and style with a smaller earcup pivot.
The QC 25 has also been features new finely-tuned Active EQ and TriPort technology, allowing for smoother frequencies and detailed low tones with extra distortion or exaggeration. The headphones also includes an inline remote for the iPod, iPhone and iPad along with a select few smartphones.
To power all of this, the headphones only need a AA battery that offers up to 35 hours of use.
Sean Garret, vice president of the Bose Noise Reduction Technology Group, said the following about the headphones in the companies press statement.
“There’s no substitute for long-term research, for over three decades, our engineers have woken up every day trying to make a better headphone. The QC25 headphones are a great example of that commitment.”
The QC 25 headphones cost £269.95 and come in black and white colours, both of which are now available for pre-order from Boses’s website.
